This will be my first entry in to what will hopefully be a long and lasting bucket of my thoughts. I have been interested in the art of Photography for the better part of two years now, not counting my previous dabbling in Photography when I was younger.

My interest was sparked during a trip to New Zealand, when I had a play with my Great-grandfathers Sony A100, over 15 odd years since it was first created. I took it around my grandfathers farm and while none of the photos came out remotely good (the photo above was taken on my phone hence why it is somewhat reasonable quality) it sparked a curiosity in me to continue to learn so that one day I might be able to take a great photo of my grandads farm.

After returning to Australia I didn't get my hands on another camera until a while later when I made the financially irresponsible decision (after getting a new job) of buying a new Canon EOS R50. While still on the cheaper side, in my limited experience, second-hand products offer better value for money to beginners and even pros, granted that you make the correct checks to ensure that the gear is still in a usable condition - this could be an entire talking point for another day. After buying my Canon EOS R50 I started to take photographs of the car meets/events that I was going to.
